Here’s an interesting new product I just saw in this months product reviews. It’s a landscaping fibre product that you mix with water to a thick constancy. Apparantly it has glue in it, so you then apply grass, dirt, bushes, trees, etc.
Looks to be less messy than plaster, and saves you money by not having to use scenic glue. I think I’ll try it out.
This is not really NEW – I’ve been using it for at least four years now. It was origiinally mentioned on an O-scale forum and someone then posted it here. I mix it with dirt, casting plaster, acrylic hobby paint, and other ingredients instead of using it straight out of the package. Its original purpose is as a sound-absorbing wall covering.
The product looks very much like Scuptamold from what I see in the way of consistency, mixing, application and final results, based on the video presentation.
