Hello All

After a few weeks of building the new layout I decided to just run trains this weekend.

Here’s some pics of the layout to date. It’s 15 feet long. 8 feet wide on one end which tapers to 6 feet on the other end to allow service access to the heating/cooling and hot water.

Progress is always good. Looks good.

In the photo of the yard (third one down), is the first switch in the yard a 3-way? It appears to flow nicely. Are the other switches #4’, 6’s or something else?

All of the turnouts are Peco’s. The first noted is a 3 way and was perfect for the application and saved space vs a ladder. The radius is 36 inch on the 3 way.

The crossovers are peco medium radius turnouts (36 inch radius) and all others are peco small radius turnouts which are 24inch radius.

Looks GREAT, good work. Are you planning to add any background/backdrops or leave it sky blue?

For 10 feet of it I plan on re-using the backdrop I made from a panarama of Philadelphia. It’s printed on vinyl and mounted on PVC sheet so is reusable. Here’s a few pics of it on the last layout:
