new layout

hey all i know that these pics dont belong on this forum for o scale. but since i feel like family with you all i will post all of the pics i have on this site. bad news is my wife has the camera and i cant get the pics to you guys until sunday. i have a nice 4x8 table with n scale on it and it is capable of running three trains at the same time. want to add 2 more lines but working with the smaller scale you really have to be careful in how you put it together. i started on this layout sunday night and i am able to run 3 trains right now. will post pics as soon as i get the camera

Reggie, good to hear from you. I used to like N Gauge until my eyes decided they weren’t too fond of it.[:)] Trains are trains. If it’s got wheels and runs on track, I’m all for it.

Reggie, many of my ideas on my layout were derived from HO/N layouts. Good layouts are good layouts.[:D]

Reggie,
We know you really want to run O gauge- put the dinky stuff away and pull out your O gauge stuff!! I 'd rather run a small O guage layout than the same size layout in any other scale- nothing else compares.[:D]

REGGIE: Great to hear from you. Am looking foward to seeing the pictures and progress.

If, by chance, I don’t get an opportunity to post, I wish you and yours a great Holiday and Fantastic New Year.

Reggie, good to hear from you. Keep on posting so we can keep up with you.

Reggie, [#ditto] to what they said. Know you will be back to “O” eventually, but in the mean time, enjoy what you have. Let us know how things are going with you and the family. As for posting pictures, make sure some photos of that beautiful little princess are amoung them!

While “O” is my favorite, I have small “S” and “N” layouts as well, thanks to sectional track with roadbeds (S-Helper, Kato, and FasTrack). I just love “toy” trains, no matter what the size. Joe

[#ditto] on the “good to hear from you”. I miss the updates on your layout. It was fun living vicariously through you as you took on that monster project. I look forward to the pics of you new layout on sunday!

there are no begginning pics as i didnt have the camera o take the starting pics. so the pics are from what i have completed thus far. hope you like.

this is all for now. more work and pics at a later date.

Look at all the wee, little hoppers!

Jim

Looks great Reggie! Glad you were able to keep it simple! [(-D]

Nice job on the trackwork…I remember how much I was able to pack into a 4x8 in N scale! But ya can’t beat the rumble of the big stuff!
