I HATE Lionel FASTRACK.
what do you hate or dislike about it?
I think Lionel FasTrack is great! That’s what I use. [:)]
Stan.
I really like FasTrack. Thats all I use. You can work on it and really dress it up (paint the rails, ballest, etc.). If you wanted to make it street level, bring up the street to track level and it looks like the tracks are going through down town. (go to work on it). I think thats the track of the future for Lionel.
Reuben
i love it and thats what i use to its easy work with all the way around
If you are a serious holiday layout person fast track can save you hours in set-up time. In two holiday seasons I have had no derailments or track seperations, particularly behind the tree.
When it comes to my Lionels, I am old school. I do you use the FasTrack for floor layouts simply becuase I am too cheap to replace it all and it is what comes with Lionels trainsets unfortunately.
RR Redneck, lets see, you Hate Tyco, you Hate Fastrack, what do you like? Please elaborate on why you hate Fastrack. Personally, I like it, it has good conduction, good looks, and holds together quite well. The only legitimate complaints that I have heard are that it is loud, and the noise can be dampened, the other complaint was that the variety of offerings was limited, this is something that Lionel is fixing.

Trains run great on Fastrack, also, I love the loud noise.
There aint nothin that gets my heart to poundin like a postwar Lionel running on traditional tubular track, that or a new Browning or Remington.
there aint nothing like my new sd80mac rolling down that new fastrack full speed ahead. my thing is track is track and when someone who knows nothing about trains and sees a train rumbling down the track of your layout and says i wonder what kind of track that train is running on. i bet the thought never came across their mind. but i bet they did say this looks so real just like real life.
