I took Athearn bay window cabooses, removed the end ladders and roofwalks, and “plated” over the end windows. I then painted them John Deere green and used Champ private name sets to letter them. Of course, they received KDs and Intermountain wheels. Lastly, I added Starr portable markers to the end rails.

I used a combination of Champ private name sets, and Highball Graphics D&H decals to letter it. I still need to paint the handrails and locate some number boards, and headlight lenses.
GREAT Job on all three. I am going to throw in one suggestion to kick it up a notch so to speak, add some glazing to those caboose windows. The absence of the window glazing stands out more because you have done such a realistic job on the paint and decaling. Just my opinion. Even if you don’t add the window glazing they still look darn good.
