New look at A&B

That is Adrian & Blissfield RR. Here in Mason MI is the little enginehouse for the Jackson and Lansing RR, a division of the A&B. Locos are paited for A&B. We have had a pair of GP9 in nice green and yellow paint for a long while, but now today they are gone and a shiny new paint SD45 in their place in new red and white paint. Apparently it is a former SP SD45 rebuilt at an SD40-2.

You know, everything in the shot is so clean and well-maintained for a second or two I thought I was looking at an HO layout!

I had the exact same reaction!

Michigan is like that![:D]

Now that you mention it, I guess it is!

I finally updated my location, I’ve lived in MI for the past 7 years, although on the opposite side of the state from the A&B.

I do like the basic white and red. However I’ll miss the old NYC inspired lightning paint. Which A&B operates on a portion of the western half of the “old” water level route bewteen New York and Chicago. Harking back to LS&MS original Buffalo-Chicago route.
