New MARC passenger cars arriving soon, weekend ridership up
Took a group of about 20 scouts, and several adults from Halethorpe to DC last Saturday for a day outing. Adults could not believe that weekend service was only recently reinstated. Very good patronage on the two trains we took. Saved a lot of cars from traveling on I-95 and I-495

Reminds me of years ago when the DC Metro finally decided to add weekend service. They need weekend service on the Brunswick line to to get people out to Harpers Ferry and that area. Run maybe two trains or more per weekend day , at least in the summer and you would get a lot of day trippers out there.
