Got a train from parents attic that I can’t seem to find much info on.
The steam engine is labeled Scale models Chicago. Mom thinks that her and her brother got this as a present in the 40s. If anyone can point me in the right direction to help get some basic info on the train I would realy appreciate it.

[#welcome] races1 ! I have no idea what you have there, but it sounds like something nice ! See if there are any numbers on it, on the side & underneath it. Next, you may have to take a digital picture, if you have access to a digital camera, and post a picture of it here. We do have some very knowledgeable guys on this sort of thing, but even they will need a little more info. I can’t seem to dial up the instructions for picture posting right now, but it will be posted on Sunday Photo Fun, tomorrow. Hope this helps !
