If those photos and drawings on 1-87vehicles.org are an accurate representation of Athearn’s future models, the whole front of the car will look wrong due to a very poorly shaped headlight support bar.

Thanks for the memories, as Bob Hope would sing. We had a model A pick up on our farm up into the middle 50’s. Last I saw of it, it was rusting away in the woods where it broke down. I need to find one in N scale. Ken

Thanks for the link. Someone else also posted about the Athearn announcement yesterday on the forum. It’s nice to see what they are going to look like. A couple of pickups sure will come in handy on my early 40s layout…
