Unless I missed something the Trains.com coverage of new products at Milwaukee’s recent Trainfest missed two new cabooses in N scale – a Missouri Pacific “shorty” bay window and a Milwaukee Road transfer caboose – the kind they built on old steam locomotive tender frames. The display models I saw looked very good. I would not mind having one of those Milwaukee Road cabooses in HO – they used to be pretty common in Milwaukee on local switching. I tried to put that bug in Matt Gaudynski’s ear at Trainfest – we shall see.
The cabooses are also mentioned in the 12/06 NMRA “Scale Rails.”
