Is there any reason for “lighting bolts” around the units numbers. Some have two, others just one?[8]

Used to be a big deal to have a “radio equipped” engine - so they put darts on the loco.

If you are referring to CSX, the lightning bolt is used on AC units. The AC6000CW’s have two.

The bolts are supposed to symbolize AC power.
