Well in my new bright 4-4-0 post I said I was going to do some painting. I have manageed to get my scientific toys 2-6-0 finished and I am still working on the new Bright. Here is a pic of the 2-6-0

Ah, the remote controlled one I have been looking for. I have the Silverado Express, it has to be manual started.
I have also modified the couples to take Bachmann ones. I am later going to replace the trucks on the tender to LGB or Bachmann ones.

These little “Sow’s Ears” as I call them, have been an excellent place to try out my skill guilt free. I watch for them on e-bay and try not to pay very much for them. My next experiment with them will be to kitbash…inspiration from what th blokes in the Scratchbuilding and Kitbashing forum are up too.
