But not new to MR. I inherited a large HO layout that my dad and I had assembled over the years beginning in the 1950’s and am now finishing the attic to accommodate a layout based on the P&R focused on the gone-but-not-forgotten outer station in Reading. My wife is into G scale via Playmobile + - yes I know that’s a toy train but we are expnading out to the patio with the real thing. I look forward to a sharing of info and photos as this adventure progresses.
Well, first off, [#welcome] to the forums. You’ll find a wealth of information here. I know I have. All you have to do is just ask. I hope you enjoy your forum experience.

I am the LION. I builded a subway layout in a classroom above the library. The Largest Subway Layout in the State of North Dakota.
Since nobody gives LIONS any money, most of the scenery is scratch built from cardboard and other stuff.
Drop by website of LION, and him will drop by website of ewe.

Yes, you read that correctly. The Lion built a subway on the second floor. Go Figure…Lol
And BTW it is a beauty.
Johnboy out.
[#welcome] Mr. Wiz.
You have come to the right place for all things HO related. I was lucky enough to drop in here years ago when it was time to return to the hobby and was helped out by the wealth of knowledge that resides here.
I agree that Lions subway is something he should be very proud of, however him currently has a broken leg, here is a photo.
Hey willygwiz!
Welcome to the forums!!! [#welcome]
Looking forward to seeing what you and your wife do.

Welcome, I also have a wife who enjoys trains. Her’s is connected with her Snow Village and is On30. I moved into N scale from HO due to space restrictions, but I am really enjoying it. Her’s are more seasonal, under the Christmas tree, but I still use her consultation often. Anyway enjoy the fourm!

Welcome to the forums!
There are a number of members here who model the Reading, myself included. I am a native of Reading, PA and remember the Outer Station and many other features of the yard in Reading…very well.
And by all means…check out the Lion’s web site. His layout is definitely impressive.
