New PATH station construction approved
Years ago, Harrison was a great train-watching spot. Dunno if it still is.
Still is for NE corridor passenger activies.
I have ridden PATH. I believe it is a light rail system.
PATH is not a light rail system, it is a rapid transit system, like the PATCO High Speed line in Philly-South Jersey or BART in San Francisco.
Light rail is essentially what we used to call trolley cars or street cars. The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, River Line and Newark LIght Rail (formerly known as the Newark Subway when it was running PCC cars) are light rail lines.
