New Photos tell me what you think.

Greetings Railroaders,

Well I have a few pictures to post. These arn’t the best but I feel that with practice and good advice I will get better.

You are looking across Cypress Lake on the far eastern side of the layout. The incompleted tall building in the center is Cargill Salt Mine. Construction is in progress. To the left of the salt mine is the Texaco Building and the Texaco Bulk Plant. The brick bldg on the right of the mine is the office for the salt mine. Then there is a hardware store and a Texaco station.

Devil Falls and River. Two mainline tracks and a hwy crosses the river. The river is approximently 1/3 past the east edge of the layout.

Note there is very little detailing thus far on the layout. I have worked on this for two winter seasons. I have no drawn plans I just build as I go. And I havent had to tear any thing out.

Happy Railroading,[8D]

I think you have done a fine job. I hope to have my layout running in a couple of years. Good work Neal.

Mike

Stephen

look good ,your water came out good

Neil your layout is great. I really like the arch bridge. When I was little my father took me to a train station near our house (The Bronx, NY) every now and then to see the trains, and there is a beautiful bridge like yours above it. You can see pics on my photo website at www.skyandtrains.com , go to Trains of the Hudson album, its in the Spuyten Duyvil chapter.
