Looks good my friend.[tup] Was that regular fabric or “outdoor/awning” fabric. Ilike the effect of the stripe. Adds a bit of “old time” charm.

Thanks for the compliment. It’s regular fabric from the quilting section of the store. I know it will not last more than one season so will replace with something different each year.

Scotch Guard It! There is a version of Scotch Guard that has a UV inhibitor. It can be found in gun/hunting shops, I’ve not seen it in the regular “cleaning supplies” area, or the sporting goods section in WalMart.

Added comment, the preceeding should read "or go to the camping section of sporting goods in WalMart. My wife made some cusions for the Grape Arbor about two years ago, we spray on the “outdoor scotch gard” twice a year and the fabric is still holding up well.

Yes it will cost more than what you spent building both the structures. If you decide to get it, and it just might be a waste of your time and money, since the piece of fabric is so small. Anyway if you do go, look for the stuff for waterproofing your tent and sleeping bag.
