Has anyone seen the new GP38-2 ? I recently saw a photo of it in another Railroad publication and was wondering if Murph has seen it yet ?
I don’t know about new, or even new to the area. They got a Geep about 3 or 4 years ago, to go with their 2 little SW switchers. At the time, I researched a bit, and found that it came from somewhere in Ohio(?). Maybe, they’ve gotten something else since then.
For 16 years, I crossed the E&E line 4 times plus per day on the way to and from work. My office was 2 blocks from their trackage downtown. Consequently, I probably ran accross one of their trains at least a couple of times a week. Last fall, my work location moved out into a nearby town, and I don’t see or hear the E&E much at all. But I do get to see 4-6 trains on the BNSF line every work day. [^]
