Item: John Allen hand painted his Gorre & Daphetid steam locomotive fleet with Testors! It is mentioned in Kalmbach’s classic book “Model Railroading with John Allen” by Linn Westcott.
Time proven, Testors is missed by the boys of the 50s who built model airplanes and automobiles and were busy converting from toy trains to HO scale as well.
