New Rochester station falls behind schedule again

LMAO.
Ah… NY State.
This isn’t about “in line with budget”.
It’s about politicians (and friends and family) making money.
Anybody guess why public-funded projects are ALWAYS over budget, behind schedule and badly built?
Rochester HAD a truly “monumental” station which could have been well restored for what the 3 subsequent stations cost, but NO, they had to tear it down and will forever be the poorer. The current “ghetto Burger King” station would be adequate if it could be modified with “high-level” platforms similar to Syracuse & Albany-Ren. At least, that’s MY opinion.
