Sorry richhotrain I’m not an ho guy—I’ve been “O” gauge for many years— started our layout 1999—2007 OGR front cover/feature article also 2007 OGR dvd " Great layout adventures" Vol. six — it was 14’X22’—four levels—it’s now 19’X28’—I run DCS and Legacy—classified as a “Toy Train Layout” I do a lot of my own animation, the latest in in OGR, on the newstands, Dec. issue.
Do you have a layout?
Hope I havn’t overused the competitions name, or I should say initials, but that’s where it all happened.

p.s. My lovely wife of 50 great years is responsible for landscaping,painting, fixing up after I make a mess doing a new project.

Hi Neil. I’m new to the forum also. Congratulations on your 50 years. My wife has been putting up with
me for 11 years. We were widower and widow.
I’m into 3-rail O. Don’t have a railroad yet, but my head is buzzing with track plans. I post now and
then on the OGR forum as ‘HOPPY’. I like the CT forum here because, being 59, I have a fondness
for ‘the way it was’. Looking forward to the fellowship here!

Note to Pop and Neil…welcome to the forum, yes indeed. But if you are looking for conversations about toy and model trains check out the Model Rairoad and the Classic Toy Trains forums. Classic Trains and Trains forums cover the twelve inch to the foot guage which is great for prototyping (and should not be ignored) but may crush vehicles of smaller guage (if not your hopes of conversations in what you’re expecting)!

railpop----sorry for the delay in answering your post of nov. 20. henry6 says we need to be on the CTT forum—I am on there—slightly confused. Any way the sooner you start your layout, the happier you’ll be—hey your just a kid @ 59, I’m a 1936 model myself.
