Hi all. As the subject says, I’m new to model railroading. Great to be here! I have a lot to learn. I do have a question. Does anyone know if the Broadway Limited Paragon I series steam loco’s have smoke capability? Thanks!

You have come to the right place. I am not sure if they do. The thing about smoke is that it leaves an oily residue on the tops of the loco, tender, and any close cars. If a product description doesn’t list a certain feature, more times than not it won’t have that feature on it.
Hope this helps.
[#welcome] From me as well. As far as the smoke, yes they do and I all so would not use smoke either! I have 3 that will that smoke, at first it was fun. But it does make a mess and not real looking. If you get some, you will enjoy the sound and like my self, stop using the smoke.
Have fun and ask a lot of questions.

Thanks the replies and welcomes! I would to see it smoke at least once. I picked up a used Broadway Limited Paragon Steam Loco the other day. It’s the New York Central model. I have a silly question. Where in the world does the smoke fluid go? I’m guessing in hole/opening in the top near the headlight? Sorry for sounding dumb here. Just new!

In the olden days it went into the smoke stack, but I can’t speak for Broadway steam, I’ll let owners comment if you didn’t get any instructions with your used model.
Check the smoke stack - if there is a little “wire” in the center, than just put a few drops of smoke fluid in it.
