New tool

I’m starting on Wicked Wanda’s and Bar Mills calls for clamps to hold pieces together as the glue drys.

They suggested clohes pins and I thought that they were much too bulky.

Try going to Radio Shack and buy micro alligator clips. They are about $2 for ten. They are about 1" long and unlike normal alligator clips the jaws are not serrated but flat like duck bills.

Works great and doesn’t damage the wood surface that it’s holding together.

Hey, not a bad idea, think I’ll drop by Circuit City,(used to be Radio Shack in Canada) and pick some up.

Or you could drop by the local “dollar store” and pick up a pack of hair clips, the type that are made of metal, small, and spring loaded. You’ll get about a dozen for the dollar.

F.Y.I.

The number on the alligator clips is 270-373. They are now $2.79 for a package of ten.

GOOD IDEA !!![bow]

I always have one eye open for stuff like that when I’m in the store. It’s funny how much non hobby stuff you can use to build a layout.
