Looks good. Space usage is good. I’d try to get some other colors in the blacktop area such as sidewalks, some random grass etc.
Good start. Now, you need to add some ground cover such as grass, weeds and bushes and some trees. A little color variety will go a long way.

Good start! Have you thought of putting a skewed divider down the middle, with a different scene on each side, for forced perspective? With a divider, trains appear and disappear . Otherwise, all you see is a train going “round and round” in a circle. I just completed an additional 200 HO scale deciduous trees, made from stained double ended skewers, dark green circles( made from furnace filters and pushed onto the skewers, that ar then sprayed with adhesive and sprinkled with WS varied colored ground foam).
