New universal command system for our gauge

Did you see this special announcement? No compatibility issues!

Doug,
I thought this was being held for a late fall release, (incorporating the automatic coupling option). . I have been doing Beta testing for them for 3 years. Our tests ran into some problems when we were attempting to incorporate the water tower accessory option.

Doug,

It’s not April yet. I could use my recorder (flute-like instrument) for sound.

That video is amazing!

I really like the demonstration of multiple engines working with multiple engineers - even across isolated blocks!

WOW !! This is sure to revolutionize the hobby !! I even sent a link to a friend before I watched it ! [:D][:D] I can’t believe they didn’t even wait till the York meet to announce its coming !!
Thanks,

The system has worked flawlessly for a couple of years now with my granddaughter’s wooden trains. Not once has she had to address a technical question to this or any other forum.

No lawsuits either.

I have been using this system for 50+ years…

Gentlemen,
I have contacted my lawyer, U. P. Yours at Cheat’em, Beat’em and Browbeat’em and we are filing a lawsuit against all of the parties that use this system of command control because it is an infringement to our patent. My company, TAKEEMFORALLTHEYAREWORTH, Corp. will see you in court since we developed this command system over 50 years ago.

Under license from TAKEEMFORALLTHEYAREWORTH, Corp of course!

Holy extensor digitalis Batman!

Well, I noticed Roy said he has used this system for over 50 yrs, so that should tell you something !! ( he’s in trouble ) [:D][:D]
Now myself, I’ve never used it !! ( I’m free & clear ) [:D][:D]
Thanks,

Wow is very nice!!
But never press #2 only, because don’t work properly.
(engineering mistake)
Andre.

This is exciting news, indeed! I’ve had plenty of experience with this system before. I suppose that with something like this it’s only a matter of time before someone claims the rights to it. I’m actually surprised that noone has done so sooner. It will be interesting to see what upgrades will be available in the future, but I suppose I’m getting ahead of myself speculating on that.

Sask,
I think you might see 10 DCC in the near future, with double the funtions. I’m waiting for that version before I invest.

Nice doppler effect with the sound!

I know this is a joke, but I wouldn’t doubt if hand-pushed toy trains outsell electrically powered toy trains. Take a look at how well the wooden Thomas line sells. My kids have a ton of them. Locos, cars, structures, . . . They are quite happy to pu***hem around their little wooden tracks and add their own sound effects.

The battery operated Thomas line is another popular one, at least in our house. We have a lot of them as well, and they run fine on the wooden tracks. I’ve been wondering for some time now if these cheap, uncomplicated toys are the real future of toy trains.

Will future generations look back fondly at the wooden and battery Thomas trains the same we look back at postwar Lionel? I wooden doubt it!

Jim

Love the sound.

The most brilliant, realistic soud ever!

jaabat is right though. I loved Brio when i was younger. If we would ever put it away. I come back with the enormous box of brios in the next 24 hours. Thomas was also my favorite to. Made my own soud effects and put my head to the the ground and watch it roll by [:I] Well, im 12 now.
