Being from long island and having a cabin on delware river area ;it was nice to see a layout from New york along the Hudson river area.

I haven’t got home to see my March copy of MRR, but I saw the track plan for Vic Romans New York Central layout and I am very excited to see the hole article. I too model the New York Central, but my layout is still in the bench work stage. The for this story, I kown it will be a great one. It’s the New York Central!!!

One of the best articles in a long time, for me. I am also modeling the NYC along the Hudson River and this is just what I have been waiting for. Great model work by Mr. Roman and great atmosphere of the NYC. Wish I could save the video on DVD so I can watch it whenever I need that spark.

Great Article, having grown up a mile from the New York Central Terminal in Buffalo, NY and walked plenty of miles of track in that area during my youth. I have been collecting the last three years NYC Steam and Diesel Engines along with plenty of rolling stock. Ready to expand my layout and Vic Roman’s article has inspired me to model the NYC Terminal and stock yards in Buffalo area. Great Job, Vic.

I live just south of Albany - GREAT article, this layout was able to bring together some of the major modelling points in the city together into a great layout. I am in the process of building a new layout and the Maiden Lane Bridge and Union Station are going to be the centerpiece of the railroad - now I can’t wait to get started on it!
