New ZW PowerHouse ?

I’ll be quick…Just trying to clear up some “fog” around my brain. My old ZW has one wire to an outlet. Am I correct to assume that, if I purchase a new ZW, I will have to plug each new PowerHouse power supply into an outlet?

If you have a new ZW, do you plug the bricks into individual outlets or do you use a “power strip”?

As always, many thanks.

Um, I think you forgot to ask a ? At least I dont see one.

Jason: Sorry…see edit. (It’s the ‘fog’)

Yes you do have to plug in each brick in! And if you have all 4 then you have 4 plugs and yes it would be a good idea to plug it in to a strip with a circuit breaker built into it. I have the new ZW and I have built a system to plug in my ZW and 6 CW80’s and TMCC base, using a regular 120 vlt 20 amp light switch that is mounted on my control panel. I then plug that into the wall and I cut up an old extension cord(14/2) for the plug and the wire running down under my table to a 120vlt 20 amp 4 plex. I then plugged 2 power strips w/cicuit breakers into that. The other 2 outlets are for future expansion and plugging in tools under the table. Good luck.

TXT: Great ideas. Thanks.

traindaddy1! I got the idea from this forum and mag! Thank them.
