NEW

Hello I am a newbie to this forum (actally a few months)

I live in the Netherlands and I am 43 years old.

I started model-railroading about ten years ago, it was in N-scale and the gernan-railroad, but I had to dismantel it deu to my personal life.

About two years ago I took up the hobby again, in N-scale again but now I am modeling the American transitional era (union pacific)

So many thanks to the internet and online-shops, I have started with two sections and I have bought some engines and freight-cars.

I have also built a website to show this to the world (it is also in english)

http://www.ntrack.nl/index.html

So if you are interested have a look (and place a comment if necessary[:)])

A real Western Welcome to you Greetz.

You obviously have studied hard, and learned well.

That is great looking benchwork. You will never be sorry for taking time to have a good foundation for your pike.

I too will look forward to your progress so please keep us informed and we all love the pictures.

Johnboy out…

That darn Union Pacific took over my railroad. Long live the Western Pacific. (The Wobbly)

Welcome! [#welcome]

Thank you all for the compliments on my benchwork.

I didn’t look at it that way, but you are right it looks good.

It’s the first time I build benchwork, my old RR was a large plate with beams underneith. (the simple way, but often effective)

I have the booklet about benchwork from the MR and used some of my own ideas to make it work.

The legs can come off, so I can transport the layout and I have bolts at the bottom af the legs so I can levell the layout at any place(well almost)
