Finally got out my 027 gauge traiin and setup for holidays, now can’t seem to put the thing away.
Looking to advance on it and make a dream world of my own, My daughter loves it and we are going to see what we can make with it. Got a few books from library on model railroads, and i am impressed with it. the web is even more crazy with info. First step is to find free 027 trains for my setup. Would like to setup 3 trains, not more than that. Ok, i know im not getting any free trains, just tripping. Anyway newbie here, and hopes to learn tons.
Any ideas, im looking for one train that comes with sound of locomotive moving on tracks, and can create smoke.

Ahh, the Christmas O 27 train layout syndrome. Its now January 6, sounds like you have it bad. Welcome to a great hobby and the forums. You really should check out the Classic Toy Trains Forum here at Trains.com. They run the big diecast metal smoking, chugging monsters. Good luck, have fun with your trains.

I’ve had the train set since 1993, give or take a minute. Still running strong, First set is actually a Hershey 100th Aniverisy set. The big box one. Running good except the smoke isn’t smoking, not sure what is messing this up. Also any ideas on a nice train set that comes with Engine that has great sound built in. Very open minded, link would help to. Im new to getting started here, don’t know a whole lot about model trains. Reading, learning, reading, learning searching, oh, im all fried up.
