Excellent information!
In Brazil the FA-1 worked in CENTRAL DO BRASIL Railway(This Railway conect Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to Minas Gerais) at 50´s, after 1956 the CENTRAL do Brasil was renamed to RFFSA, and the FA-1 has a 2 skins in your activity life. The firt skin is Blue and Yellow(Central do Brasil), and the second skin is Red and Yellow (RFFSA my favorite company), in 70´s the FA-1 dont loger worked , and today ther one locomotive in Rio de Janeiro in bad situation.
In Brazil, only Unit A come from here.
