Black Bart Mine sounds like it is a revised version of the older “Suydam” metal kit that had to be soldered together. If the new kit is constructed as well as some of the former “mat board” kits from “Suydam”, it should be a good looking model and a worthy addition to “Alpine’s” product line.
Alpine Models does not show a ‘Black Bart’ mine on their web site.
The magazine is a great way to feel supported regarding the various questions that arise concerning model railroading.
