Thanks for your weekly update, it’s a great service.
Model Railroader magazine kept my dream alive for more than
60 years while I was limited to being an Arm-chair Modeler. From very early childhood, I liked trains, and had several relatives working for railroads, and a lot more friends on the railroads. So, when I built my first two HO model boxcars (age 14), I thought I was on my way to having my own model railroad. NOT SO. College, courtship, marriage, children, job(s), movement from place to place in employment, . . . lots of reasons, but the bottom line was, I did not have a model railroad of my own, and Model Railroader was my “fix” every month. At age 77, I now have my very own model railroad, and it really is a lot of fun.
I like Cody’s presentations. We are never too old to capture new ideas and new modeling skills and stuff.

MR Mag. is a source of inspiration and ideas. I enjoy the new product intro’s and hints/techniques. I like just knowing that there are so many other RR crazies out there as evidenced by the articles and stories in the Kalbach publications.
MR has been my number one model railroad magazine for over 65 years. It has great articles and lets me get up close to all the great train equipment.
