I have some exiting news- My magazine , Toy Trains magazine, will have it’s first issue this january. If you would like to reserve a copy or inset an ad, say so (it is in black & white and comes out every 3 months) The cost is $2.00, but 50% goes to the Trains for Kids program. Every year, Trains for kids donates a Lionel trainset fo needy families. My mom had that idea. We will supply this year’s set, but need support to continue the program.
Wow railfanespee4449, sounds like a good plan. May be you can get Lionel to contribute a few sets every year… It would be a good way to support the hobby.

I’m not trying to harass you or to pour ice water on your dreams…BUT…Carstens Publications, publisher of Railroad Model Craftsman might have something to say about your new magazine. Back in 1956 they purchased and absorbed another “Toy Trains” magazine. Otherwise good luck on your new venture. Odd-d
