Boyd, a buddy of mine customized up one of these using HO scale Walther’s traffic light with a hand-made ‘sheath’ showing the ‘walk’ sign over the light - the intersection is right at the front of the layout so you can easily see it. He has yet to sync it with his Traffic lights so sometimes his little people are invited to walk against the light…
I think that a Red Barn with operating Turbine Ventilators on the Roof & the Sounds of Cows & Chickens inside & a Door that opens up & a Farmer moves out(Kind of like the Gateman) every time a train passes would be a neat item for a layout with a Farm on it. Take Care.
