Hi guys
Today I found this interesting address.

Enjoy…!
Andre.
I believe Charles is a long time poster to the Live Steam section over there. Nice guy. Always helpful. Boiling over (pun intended) with live steam knowledge. A live steam-aholic !!

Thanks, Andre,
I’m still going thru them. Live steam has been a dream of mine in O scale tinplate, mind you. In some of the photos you will notice a 3rd rail but not centered like toy trains. That is to accommodate O and G gauge live steamers.
Also, notice that the roadbed is raised. That’s so the old guys can tend to the steam engines much easier; because like the real beasts, they require continual care and feeding and operate nearly exactly the same. Although an electronic speed control can be installed, many live steamer aficionados don’t use them so much of the ROW is fairly level.
Also, the boat looks pretty authentic.
The ultimate experience would be to have live steam locomotives and steam boats cruising the back 40 grounds and slow-moving river. You could then chomp on a cigar and view the iron beasts the way Mark Twain did 150 years ago, debating the merits of the iron horse and the steamboat.
