Nick Palette shelf layouts

i rember seeing a layout by Nick Palette . it was roughly a 1x8 shelf layout based in maine with a sprrinfield terminal( Guilford) gp7 does anyone have the track plan for this or what month and year this came out?

According to the new MR index, it was in Model Railroader May 1999, Compact switching layout in HO scale.
