Nifty links to other railroad sites

I am not sure how popular this thread might be, but I feel it is worth a try.

At the end of this paragraph is a website that I think some of you will find interesting. It is more of an educational, rather than a sensational site; however, I found it to be quite interesting. http://www.du.edu/~jcalvert/railway/railhom.htm

Perhaps if any of you know of some cool web sites (preferably railroad related), you could post them here. In this way, we all will benefit from each other’s surfing experiences.

Good Idea! Should provide a lot of links to explore and some good resources… THANK YOU, ZARDOZ

.Nanaimo73’s post of some time back with a lot of his source resources has been a favorite for me,also.

His threads over in the Trackside Guides side of the forum are a TREASURE TROVE of links.

You listed the diesel shop. I used to consult this site quite often, but stopped checking it out some time ago when they stopped listing Canadian short lines. Just tried it now and they have reinstituted these entries. I’ll be going onto this site periodically once again. Thanks.
