I am not sure how popular this thread might be, but I feel it is worth a try.

At the end of this paragraph is a website that I think some of you will find interesting. It is more of an educational, rather than a sensational site; however, I found it to be quite interesting. http://www.du.edu/~jcalvert/railway/railhom.htm

You listed the diesel shop. I used to consult this site quite often, but stopped checking it out some time ago when they stopped listing Canadian short lines. Just tried it now and they have reinstituted these entries. I’ll be going onto this site periodically once again. Thanks.
