Wow, all you need is a few thousand scale people (and one weirdo in a raincoat) and you’ll have it just like the real thing.[:D]. just goes to show that you dont need a lot of money.
Thousands of people are EXPENNSIVE. Have you seen the price of today’s painted figures. LION has some unpainted figures, and one of the Brothers here at the Abbey is painting them for me, so we will sea what happens. Maybe we will get more of those hand ahve two hobbies for the price of one.
In this photo everything is shut off except the signals which stay lit all of the time. I thought it would be cool, and I suppose it is, but it looks far better in person. Perhaps I ought to try a trypod and different exposures.
The four white lights at the far left are on the Model Board, which is one reason why I leave the signals on. Otherwise the board will go blank, and the relays will not know where the trains are.
Day or Night The Platform Level of Chambers St Near the Office has the same light.
Lion I think you could put some semi painted figures in the subway Wasn’t there a no pants ride a few months back you could paint the top chest area red a stripe around the middle for the underwear and leave the rest bare Ok Maybe black on the feet for shoes.
Br. James painted some figures for me, and with the ones that I bought I would be able to populate one or maybe two platforms. I would need thousands, and that is quite out of my price range unless I win the sweepstakes (and if Trainland cannot get me more subway cars). I’ll buy them a few at a time when I have an extra dollar or two, but that is a low priority. As the layout nears compleation (if ever that shall be) then they will become a higher priority.
