NJ Transit Penn Station concourse gets upgrades
The better departure boards are both needed and welcome. I still find the best design is one very large departure board such as the one Amtrak uses or the one NJT itself uses in Hoboken Terminal.
Now if we could only get the Amtrak dispatchers to route outgoing NJTransit trains on tracks 1-11 (accessible from the new concourse directly) instead of a mad dash from the new concourse to the old waiting area, we would really see an improvement.
