This is one of my dad’s photos… this one is the Nickel Plate Berkshire #759 heading through Glen Rock NJ on its way to Binghamton, NY, Memorial Day 1970.

I posted this in the past on a California list, so if you are also on that, you may have seen it already.

The boy taking the picture in the bottom left hand of the photograph is me, taking my first ever railfanning picture of my life.

Somewhere in my image files I’ve got a picture of a Berk taken at about that time at Hancock NY. Might have been the same trip, if they took the old Erie.

I do have the picture I took… a blurry shot of just the smokebox… didn’t really know what I was doing yet.

It would be great to see anyone else’s photos of this run, or any of 759’s High Iron runs.
