Gidday Terry, a bit too far for me to swim, but after all your preparation, I do hope the gremlins stay away, and you and your visitors have a great time.
Cheers, the Bear. [:)]

Thanks For the good wishes Bear

But you know that its an unwritten law what can go wrong will

go wrong

Still I plan on having fun and will post pictures

Wow, just reading the descriptions of the layouts on the tour was fun. I wish I lived closer. There are some nice layouts to see.

Yes Both Gil Frietag and his sons layouts are masterpieces

Gil’s takes up the whole upstairs of his house

with floor to ceiling scenery Its a lifetime of work

First day went well

The animations were a big hit esp the bear and the coal tipple

Lots of photos taken today

Did any special edition HO freight or passenger cars get produced for the event?

No Sadly nothing was offered

Bummer!! [:(] Maybe next year then…[:)]

Seems like the LSR only does one every 6-8 years

and usually when its held in Dallas

The attendence for this convention was lighter than they hoped for

That’s not a good sign from the club’s point of view.
