Cody has moved on to a new assignment - the video edition of MR. I am not sure whether there will be more of “Cody´s Office” coming in the future.
I guess “subscriber extras” aren’t what they used to be. That was the only extra I looked at. Too bad.
When the new “Video Plus” was announced it was said that Cody’s office would still be a regular feature and Cody would be doing segments for the new Video Plus. Did they lie to us?
If they are banking on the Video PLUS to keep things going and having a cost of the price of the Magazine on top of the Magazine Subscription I for one won’t be doing it.
I have been a Model Railroader Subscriber for far too many years!
I enjoy Cody’s Office and most of the other videos
But having to pay almost the cost of the magazine for the Video content I will wait until it comes out on U-Tube! 
I doubt there is going to be much on Video Plus I can’t fine on the NET if I looked hard enough!

I am not going to pay for any video either. My sub and special issues purchases are enough.
As I stated in another thread, my modeling budget is too small to pay extra for video content I used to get for free (weekly, not monthly, Cody’s Office and History According to Hediger). I’d rather use that money for my layout.
I am a subscirber now but it is hard to read, for me, anything that is not backlit.

Just to clarify: Cody’s Office will continue and Model Railroader subscribers will continue to enjoy the videos that they’ve always received. MR Video Plus is a new product with new content and not a replacement for the magazine or the MR website. If you have any questions about MR Video Plus, I strongly suggest that you check out the Model Railroader Video Plus website for accurate answers (i.e. from the MRVP staff, not forum users), especially the latest video blog where Neil discusses some FAQs about Video Plus.
