no customer service from railtownwindows.com

Had a very unsatisfactory experience with Railtownwindows.com. I was shipped the incorrect merchandise and they would not respond to any of my e-mail attempts to address the error. I also received no assistance from Paypal in this matter. Just wondered if anyone else had this same experience with Railtown or am I the only unfortnate one. Obviousely, I have been warning everyone I can about their lack of integrity and complete ignorance of customer service, and will continue to do so.

It’s kind of weird that people keep saying to use PayPal because they take care of customer disputes and all I ever hear is complaints that they don’t do squat when there is a problem.

Check your spam folder just to be sure you didn’t get a response. Someone just did this over on another forum lambasting a manufacturer for not responding… turned out the reply was in his spam folder.

I have never had luck with PayPal customer service either. I also have had problems with this site. All I do is cancel the payment on my credit card if they do something like this.

Always use a credit card with paypal. Do NOT let them deduct directly from your bank account. You need that extra layer of protection. If paypal won’t help after you’ve tried in good faith then ask cc company to do a chargeback.

I looked at the railtownwindows.com site and both it and their products look amateuerish to me.

Personally, I always look at the quality of the “packaging” to help me determine if a company or product is professional or not.
