This is the result, so faron saving the redo of the no lix. Selector and Mr Beasley came up with some ideas and I just took it to this. LONG WAY TO GO but not ripping out the no lix.
This shows the LOWER loop under the mountain and the 2nd loop showing. The high track is to the PAY PAL mine.
Using a Double track portal to give the impression that it is a double track going up the no-lix. I will add a liner since it can be done from underneath very easley.
That near vertical webbing attached to the upper OSB, may be better to use 1/4" ply and secure directly to the edge of the cookiecutter subroadbed. The scenery clearance seems real tight to the lower track approaching the portal. Carry a full retaining wing wall. This can be glued directly to the plywood. Once you start to pass the turnout the wing wall can drop or stop and transition into some rock cut. Not sure from the pic, but I don’t think there’s enough room for webbing, plaster and rock castings.
THe yellow tree is set to drag against the cars on the siding. All rolling stock is steel wheels and they roll at the slightest touch.

To the LEFT of the portal those pices where a TEST to see what would work. I am going to just do a carved rock facing or somehing like that till it gets a little more clearence. The LIVE track is the ones without the cars. That does clear but we found out that the crane swings out ad DID rub so we made the changes tonight.
I have not done scenery in over 30 years so this is a learning curve with all new types of material. I will probably use the good old screen method in that area since it conforms better.
