No more BNSF.

I hear that the BNSF is changeing their name back to:Burlington Northern. [:D]

If you’re referring to the RAILWAY, don’t hold your breath 'cause you’ll turn blue.

I think they should change it to “the Real Milwaukee Road”

I heard they are changing the name from BNSF to Chinese National Railway…WEST!

Their new corporate symbol is a red goat with a sickle.[}:)]

[(-D] LOL, good one! Given the types of material BNSF hauls in all directions, this is really a good suggestion…although it would also apply to UP and CSX and NS as well.

Well, back in the day the CB&Q loco’s were painted…“Chinese Red”

I heard they are changing it to 'BULL***", but thats just what I heard.[:P]

huzzah!!!

LOL! No I changed my mind, I like that better[#ditto]

They don’t go to Milwaukee.

It’s true. Check out the first re-paint

lol. Gotta love a shop crew with a sense of humor.

So what? BN was pretty much the reason why the MILW went under in the 70’s. (Other than stupid management) Live a little. Maybe we could compromise and call it the

Northern Burlington Milwaukee Fe Santa Claus

That whole name would look awesome on a GP9. They would probably have to wrap it around the hood or something. [:D]

The trouble w/ calling it Chinese National Railways West is that it’s east of the rest of CNR

I hear they’re changing it to new BNSF. Then customers will get mad that they ruined the favor and BNSF will be forced to bring back BNSF Classic. [(-D]

I might be wrong, but I think that they are set up like this: Stock Market Name is Burlington Northern, Company Name is Burlington Northern Santa Fe, and Railway Company Name is BNSF Railway. You might be referring to the stock market name which I’m kind of sure is still Burlington Northern.

I think the Santa Fe was listed on the stock exchange under “Atchison” for many years. Any AT&SF fans out there to confirm/correct that?
