No MR Forums? OK, what are your plans....?

I’m going to pick up some Masonite and put in the cover over the subway station so I can start laying track above the station. Then I’ll begin the right-of-way down to the new staging yard. That same sheet of Masonite will be used for fascia as well. But, I did promise the wife I’d help her with the garden, too. That’s OK, I love tomatoes and raspberries.

I think we should all post photos of what we got done on our pikes during this forum drought. And whoever accomplishes the most should receive a free one year subscription from MRR for making us get off our butts and work so hard.[:D]

Must get cinder pit and convoyer painted and assembled, by next weekend. Must also get new concrete coaling tower moded and assembled.

I’m going to be doing yard work at my Dad’s place this weekend, then finish painting the last of three bedroom at my daughter house. Then we can move rest of her things out the our house. By Sunday afternoon can rest from my labors.

Something non-forum/non-MRRing-related. Kinda looking forward to the break. [:)][tup]

Saturday, my family and I will go to Georgia for a big annual tractor festival. Saturday afternoon, we will come home (all the while driving my family bonkers because we will be driving through Baldwin,FL and possibly Folkston, GA)

On Sunday, it will be the usual: go to church in the morning, go home and have a nice lunch, and then panic because I didn’t do the assigned homework for school (Why did I have to get all AP classes!?)

I will be doing homework, mowing grass, and maybe finish my Walthers ADM grain elevator kit. I purchased two of them and am going to kitbash them to make a larger structure.

Well lets see. Might do some yard work. My wifes grandfather has a b-day Sunday.

Boy…it sounds like I have a lot planned [:-^].

I might as well die because the No. 1 think keeping me from doing my homework will be taken away, lol. Ill probably work on scenicing the mountains behind Stockton, so I can glue the structures down and scenic the foreground.

We’re projected to have some nice weather so I’ll be putting a brick pad in front of the lawn shed. Will also work on getting the sand from last winter cleaned out of the garage. Sunday there is a chance of rain so I may be forced to work on the trains.

Tom

Oh, I don’t know. Maybe weather the heck out of a GP30.

I will absolutely curl up into a ball in the corner and want to die without the forums!

Really I will.

I probably will shop for a new A/c to replace one in the BR that makes a good-awful noise.

I should drain the pond out front of the winter sludge, look for a new pump for the waterfall. clean out the raised planter bed surrounding said pond.

All that assuming the new controlled substance pain killers my Dr gave me will let me.

I will miss the diner daily, though.

I will go through forum withdrawal.

I will survive.

I think.

I hope.

I’ll have no excuse now to not decal my SPMW water car I painted last week (requires only 20 decals since its prototype didn’t display capacity, weight, build date or similar data on the date I’m modeling).

Press on with the wiring project that will bring the Nonomura zone to full operational status, then erect some more roadbed and lay some more track.

If Sunday turns out nice, we may drive over to the dam (Hoover) and hike the newly-opened part of the Railroad Trail (from Tunnel #5 to the former site of Himix.) The first time I ever saw that stretch of roadbed there were rails on it…

Life will go on since I am on several forums…[(-D]

However,I won’t be around much tomorrow evening and most of the Day Saturday because of the Bucyrus Train Show and open house.

I’ll be going to the Lindsay, Ontario train show Saturday with my club and depending on how much beer gets consumed watching my beloved Maple Leafs play their last game of the season Saturday night I might be there Sunday as well.

I’m going to be working on my Union Station and maybe the ethanol plant. Lots to do, I will be busy all weekend.

oh and watch the Masters golf tournament. Go Phil Mickelson!!!

Visit the three other forums I’m a member of and also get the roads of North Branch done, as well as a couple tutorial videos

Going to have a ‘date night’ - headed out to dinner and then a movie. Then it’s packing for a well deserved Florida vacation. Of course, the laptop will be going but think I will survive.

You are always welcome to join the Canucks Bandwagon. Maybe then you can remember what playoffs are.[:D]

Just remember without the Leafs there probably would have never been Tim Hortons. So they were good for something at one time.
