“Norfolk Southern announces schedule for employee steam trips.” This is happening, because NS sucks!

This is terrific news! I commend NS for honoring both their hard working employee’s and the company’s heritage.
I commend NS for bringing back steam excersions. Believe if they were handled properly it could be both a PR and money making proposition. Problem with steam excersions in the past were they were too few and far between. NS could set up trips so that each of their geographic regions/divisions would host a series of trips each year. In the east alone, they could set up a trip from Pittsburg to Harrisburg via Horseshoe Curve. Then follow that up with a trip from Harrisburg to DC via Baltimore. Rest in DC over the week at Union Station with live steam on display. Next trip would be from DC back to Harrisburg via Manassas, Front Royal, and Hagerstown. Then from Hagerstown down the valley line to Roanoke. Use the imagination and keep 'em rolling. Also, while articles/notices such as this provide a “tease,” more details on the specific trips, dates, and routes would be appreciated.
This is great , me and my son are looking foward to getting some great photos . Thanks NS for letting the younger gen see steam.
