Norfolk Southern Heritage Fleet update
I am curious what paint mods will be done on the 8104 Lehigh Valley unit.
The large white LV diamond and stripes on the nose and rear of the unit like the old Alco C-628’s surely would make this a standout NS Heritage unit.
I can’t wait to see the pictures of all these units in Trains magazine when they meet at Spencer, NC for the fourth of July. Perhaps they could pair some of them up with their own predecessor railroad schemes, like the NYC and PRR together, or Wabash, NKP, and N&W together, etc.
The revised LV paint is a keeper! Please let these engines roam beyond unit coal trains.
I can’t wait for the Wabash and Illinois Terminal units.
