Well, once again…where does the New Haven fit into this. I think the State of CT used up all the McGinnis paint.

all units done this spring wow

Now we know why 4610 was repainted into NS black.

Heritage units done in the original paint schemes------ AWESOME!! I cant wait to see them. TRAINS MAGAZINE should to a special about the heritage fleet with lots of pics!!

CSX is controlled by investors, many from south of the border, that could care less about heritage. Money is the bottom line there. If you need proof, look at the amount of slow orders across the system, then go trackside and look at the sorry state of their main lines.

No biggie. Just happy they are acknowledging their heritage period. God knows CSX and its history hating legal department would never do this…

I hope the Southern unit is an SD70ACe in the black tuxedo paint scheme! As a matter of fact hopefully NS will use the 10 EMD engines for SOU and NW heritage roads and use the 8 GE engines for CR heritage roads. That would be cool!

Once again, which New Haven routes are currently operated by Norfolk Southern? I noted that the NYNH&H is getting a heritage unit…maybe.

Here’s a thought for the Southern unit: have it include the check letter SOU used on all their diesels.

Curious WHICH Jersey Central paint scheme will be selected. I vote for the early blue & orange. Very much looking forward to also seeing the Virginian unit.

Does anyone know if one of the heritage locomotives will wear the Virginian (VGN) livery?
