I am a retired NP-BN-BNSF Yard Clerk from Northtown (Minneapolis) and a school bus driver in the north metro area of the Twin Cities.
I thought I should start a forum on the various NS heritage units and how far they roam away from the NS.
On my bus runs I have seen the NS “Central of Georgia” and the “Interstate” units.
These were on separate NS oil tank car trains through Ramsey, MN (west of Minneapolis about 30 miles) on the BNSF’s Twin Cities Division, Staples Subdivision.
