Norfolk Southern Increases Quarterly Dividend

“NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC)
today announced an increase in the quarterly dividend
to 18 cents per share on its common stock, payable on
Sept. 11 to stockholders of record on Aug. 4.”

The current dividend is 16 cents per share.

I think CSX just bumped theirs up too. Personally, I would prefer they keep the dividend at current level and invest the extra payment into infrastructure, but that is just me.
